Wife: Henrietta Blanche (Cordillot's appendix: Mme Louis Henrietta nee
Blanche), married at Dallas; the DMN 1906 marriage list has him
marrying "Miss Henriette" in the colony
Occupation at colony: veterinarian; also the forge and horseshoeing;
quickly the specialist in branding cattle
Occupation in Dallas: blacksmith (a forge, 1860); in New Orleans,
veterinarian to the Carrollton railroad
Ship / arrival: left for Texas early in 1855. (The Uriel's #197 "Louis"
was rejected as a matcher artefact -- src/findings.md.)

- After the war, New Orleans, in the Jefferson suburb; never missed a
chance to win converts. April 7, 1868: organized the celebration of
Fourier's 96th birthday with the bookseller A. Simon and Dr Testut
(both later of Section 15 of the AIT) and M. Dalloz of La Tribune de
La Nouvelle-Orleans; again for the 99th in 1871, then tried to form
"a group able to work at Fourierist propaganda"
- Founding member of the Club republicain of New Orleans's French
socialists, elected treasurer May 7, 1871, and one of the makers of
its transformation into Section 15 of the First International
- In the polemic over the Paris Commune with Felix Limet of L'Abeille,
sent a letter "full of irony and all moderation" that his fellow
members took as disowning the Parisian revolutionaries

Notes
The colony's farrier founded the other AIT section that ex-colonists
built: Section 15 at New Orleans, alongside Dallas's Section 46. The
Fourier birthday celebrations of 1868 and 1871 are the earliest dated
Fourierist activity by a Reunion colonist after the dissolution.
